I want to fundraise for Future Talent, where do I start?

Start by reading our Fundraising Pack. In here there are tips and resources to help you plan. If you're still unsure, you can always contact us at office@futuretalent.org for a chat.

How do I fundraise online?

We recommend using the platform JustGiving to set up a personalised fundraising page. It's secure, easy to share, and the funds come directly to Future Talent. If you want to fundraise in another way, check out the Fundraising Pack for details on how to pay in donations raised offline.

What is Gift Aid?

Donating with Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 that's donated. It costs the donor nothing extra. The Gift Aid scheme is for UK taxpayers. You can find a helpful Guide to Gift Aid here.

Can I claim Gift Aid on the funds I raise?

Gift Aid can be claimed by UK tax-payers on personal donations, however Gift Aid cannot be claimed on money raised through ticket sales, raffles, or collections. If your donors are donating individually via your fundraising page, they can add Gift Aid when they give.

Can I request a specific graphic or poster designed for me?

We might be able to help you design something specific if, for example, you would like a concert poster or flyer designed. Please contact natasha@futuretalent.org to discuss your design. Whilst we hope to accomodate your request, as we are a small team, this is sometimes not possible.

Can you help promote my fundraiser?

We'd love to help where possible. Tag us in your social media posts, or share with us by email. We can also share a blog post written by you to the News section of our website.

What if I can't reach my fundraising target?

Setting a target is a real motivator for your supporters to help you reach it. However, we understand that sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can't quite get there. Please get in touch with us if you're worried and need ideas to help you reach it.
