Minhaz Abedin

Chief Executive Officer

Driven by an impatient urge to create impact, Minhaz loves to empower opportunities for young people. Beginning his journey aged 11, he lobbied Parliament for increased youth service funding in Leeds. Elected as a Youth MP, he spoke at the Dispatch Box in the House of Commons twice, serving as the National Spokesperson by age 17.

Continuing his journey on the global stage, the Secretary of State for International Development appointed Minhaz as the official Youth Delegate to the United Nations. Joining global charity World Merit in 2015 to continue this work, he currently serves the Board as a Trustee, previously leading Press and then Development for the charity.

After consulting for Heineken and Porsche, Minhaz founded in 2016, a marketing agency that amplifies brands across the globe through organic conversations. Within three years, the Abedin Collective established offices in London and has reached over 500 million people with clients like 'The Times' and 'Reed Smith’. It continues to thrive with a fantastic team in Shoreditch.

Minhaz is thrilled to be apart of the team at Future Talent and looks forward to growing and developing the charity to support more gifted young musicians across the nation.
