Ellie Mildred-Smith
When Ellie began flute lessons just over four years ago, she practiced morning and evening on an old, borrowed instrument.
Thanks to one generous donation to Future Talent, we were able to provide Ellie with a brand new Yamaha 311 flute.
Ellie is now a year 8 pupil at Lincoln Minster School, where she is working towards her grade 5 flute exam. She has started playing the piccolo and now plays in the school orchestra, the concert band and is a member of the "Silver Seven" ensemble.
In addition to this, Ellie has won a medal for her work as a chorister, a very demanding role at a Cathedral School.
"I love my flute and I get lost in music, I practice every day and am a real perfectionist. I would like a career in music, maybe even teach music. My whole world revolves around music and I never want to have to give it up for anything."

She is well deserving and her efforts would make you proud as they do me.The help and financial assistance Future Talent provides for Ellie are so kind and she really is very happy with her musical passion.
