Madeleine Pickering
Madeleine Pickering started learning the Violin at the age of 6; three years later she gained distinction for her Grade 8 exam. She then began studying at the Primary Department of the Royal Academy of Music, including violin lessons with Erica Grajner Desa, chamber music, choir, musicianship, and viola ensemble and string orchestra, both of which she has led in concerts.
Madeleine is a member of Pro Corda, the International Chamber Music Academy, and was a founder member of Arpeggione, a residential chamber music course for violists.
Future Talent supported her studies at Junior Academy with a bursary from September 2009 onwards. "I am very thankful to Future Talent for supporting me at Junior Academy. I am so excited about my new classes there.
