Hannah Allaway

Hannah Allaway started to play the recorder at the age of 4. She began piano lessons soon after her 6th birthday and was given the opportunity to learn the harp a few months later. She has also been playing the clarinet since she was 8.
In 2008, Hannah auditioned and became a harpist with the National Children's Orchestra Under 11 Orchestra, performing at the NCO's 30th Anniversary concert in the Birmingham Symphony Hall.
In the following year, Hannah was accepted into the Under 12 Orchestra as lead harpist received
"The Most Promising Musician" prize at the Painscastle Eisteddfod 3 years in succession.
Currently, Hannah works towards Grade 7 on the piano, Grade 6 on the harp as well as clarinet and she has passed the audition for the National Children’s Orchestra (Under 13s). The Under 13s will be performing in the Anvil, Basingstoke at Easter, the Town Hall, Birmingham in Summer and the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the South Bank throughout 2010.
Future Talent supported Hannah with a bursary towards the purchase a small-size concert harp.
