Joseph Donmall
Joseph is seventeen and has been playing the cello for 10 years. He is Principal Cellist of the Hallé Youth Orchestra, cellist with the Hallé Youth String Quartet and attends the Junior RNCM.
Joe has made a number of solo appearances at venues such as the Bridgewater Hall and St Mary le Baum, Rochdale. This year he will perform Haydn's Cello Concerto in C Major with a local symphony orchestra. Competition success has included first prize in the Incorporated Society of Musicians 'Young Musicians Platform' 2007. Joe has recently taken his 8th grade cello exam.

Joe won the Future Champions Gold award for Oldham in 2008, and hopes to pursue a career as a cellist.
