Adele Grogan
Adele started her musical career by beginning piano lessons at the age of five. Aged seven she began to play the flute and is now Principal Flute in the Oldham Youth Orchestra with whom she has toured to New York.
Adele started to play the alto saxophone three and a half years ago, and is now a member of the Oldham Music Centre Swing Band and Jazz band. She studies under Mike Hall, Head of Jazz faculty at the RNCM. She is also a member of Billy Coxons Eleven and a group called Vanir, with whom she performs all around the country.
Adele has a passion for Jazz music, and would like to gain a scholarship to study at Berklee Jazz College in Boston, Massachusetts. She won the Future Champions Silver award for Oldham, and played all night with the Ronnie Scott's All Stars at the Future Talent Gala Fundraiser in December 2008.
