Helena began playing the violin aged three. She joined National Children’s Orchestra in 2005 and is currently in her fifth year at the Junior GSMD leading the Junior Guildhall String Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and Piano Quintet. Helena, in her second year with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, enjoys the playing Tchaikovsky’s piano concert no. 1 and develops as a principal player her leadership skills further. In autumn 2009, Helena was accepted on violin into RCM to start next September 2010.
