Future Talent is a very special music charity.  We provide support to develop exceptional musical talent in the UK where it might otherwise be lost.

The primary aim of Future Talent is to find, fund and nurture musically gifted individuals aged between 5 and 18 who do not have the means or the opportunity to advance their musicianship.  From provision of an instrument to the funding of private tuition or a special course, we are committed to providing the natural stepping stones to help talented young musicians aim high.  In pursuance of this aim, Future Talent gives many others the chance to grow through music.  We also help to guide parents and teachers where necessary, to ensure a network of support for these talented youngsters.

Whatever the young people's musical aspirations, Future Talent will give them the chance to fulfil their musical potential.  Thanks to this underlying philosophy, we have attracted the support of some of the UK's most eminent musicians and educators. 

Through tailor-made partnerships with local area Music Services and schools, Future Talent has provided tuition and instruments.  We have firmly established a network of music specialists and mentors who encourage, teach and advise these talented children through an ongoing programme and regular support.

Future Talent has many projects at different stages of development across the country. We have long-running projects in East Yorkshire and the East End of London, as well as newer programmes developing in Oxfordshire and other areas of London.  In Greater Manchester, we are working in partnership with the Music Services of Bolton, Oldham and Rochdale.  This project, known as Future Champions, is also in conjunction with The Hallé Orchestra.
