Senior Director, Yamaha Music UK Ltd.

Mike started his working life as a gigging musician playing in different bands throughout the 60s and into the early 70s ending his career with "Gethsemane" who supported bands like Cream, Jethro Tull and Fleetwood Mac.

His musical career continued as Sales Director for a music retail chain in the South before joining the Hammond Organ Company in 1975, and then in 1981 he joined Yamaha and became a Senior Director responsible for Acoustic Sales, Yamaha Brand and Education.

Mike still finds time to play keyboard, bass guitar and sing bass.  He's also a dab-hand with a fly fishing rod.

Mike joined Future Talent as a Trustee because, through Yamaha and the charity he is able to combine the key objectives of enriching people's lives through learning, playing and making music with a range of musical instruments.
