Sam Statham (piano)

Sam is 10 years old and plays the piano and guitar. He has been learning the piano for about 18 months and the guitar for two years. Sam loves the piano and at school he performs in assembly most weeks. He has also won his school’s music shield and is very proud to have his name engraved on it.

Sam knows that leaning music is very expensive and receiving funding from Future Talent, means he will be able to continue with his lessons and achieve his Grade 8.

In the future Sam would like to study music at college and become either a concert pianist or jazz pianist. He would also like to be a music teacher.
