Lucy Sanderson (French Horn)

Lucy plays the French Horn and before receiving funding from Future Talent, she was borrowing an instrument from Bolton Music Service that she had to return before she went to University.  As a result, Lucy had been saving pocket money and was also working each Saturday at the local chemists in an attempt to raise the money that was needed for a new instrument. Following her application, Future Talent awarded Lucy funding to enable her finally to purchase her very own horn.

When she applied for funding , Lucy’s ambition was to come to London and study music at a conservatoire and in September 2009 she started a four-year Music Performance course at Trinity College of Music.
