Keri Tsang (harp)
Keri was born in 1998 and dreams of becoming a music teacher when she is older. She lives in Leeds and has been playing the harp for the last four years; however her progress was being hindered by her instrument which was too small and did not produce a big enough sound to enable her to play in the various ensembles she longed to be a part of. Thanks to support from Future Talent, Keri has been able to buy a new harp. This has enabled her to play with ensembles each Saturday as part of Yorkshire Young Musicians that she was previously only able to watch. She has also gained a place with the Leeds City Youth Strings Orchestra. Working on new repertoire has enabled Keri to improve her sight reading skills which has in turn greatly improved her confidence as a player.
