Elizabeth Hardman (soprano)

Elizabeth really loves music and spends four nights a week at Bolton Music Centre. She first began singing in choirs when she was seven when she joined the Turton Training Choir and shortly after this she moved to the Bolton Junior Youth Choir just in time to be invited to sing in the 2005 School’s Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.

Elizabeth won the Future Talent Champions Bolton silver award in 2011. This has enabled her to receive private singing lessons which she hopes will enable her to go on to a conservatoire and study voice as her first instrument and clarinet as her second. Elizabeth hasn’t had much experience of solo singing before and so she is hoping that her lessons will help her musical development and also provide her with new experiences. This summer, Elizabeth is looking forward to going on tour with Bolton Youth Harmonies in Malta.

In addition to singing Elizabeth plays the clarinet and piano and is a member of Bolton Youth Concert Band, Bolton Youth Orchestra, Bolton Youth Clarinet Choir and Bolton Youth Harmonies.
