Daniel Prompa (flute and saxophone)

Daniel wanted to play the saxophone when he was seven; however as his fingers were too short, his music teacher suggested he started learning the fife. By the end of that year he had also started to play the flute and he took up lessons with Oxfordshire Music Service. Daniel clearly demonstrated a real talent for music and being a perfectionist, he spent lots of time practising the pieces he was learning. Soon after beginning his flute lessons, Daniel become a member of one of Oxfordshire Music Service’s orchestras which he still greatly enjoys.

When he was able to start saxophone lessons, Future Talent supported the cost of his first year of tuition and also provided him with a second hand instrument that had been donated to Future Talent with the wish that it is passed onto someone just like Daniel. Daniel continues to make excellent progress on both his flute and saxophone.
