Alex Saxon (saxophone)

Alex has been learning instruments through Rochdale Music Service since the age of eight. He has never owned his own instruments and has always borrowed them from the Music Service, where he also works as an assistant teacher.  Securing funding from Future Talent has meant that Alex has been able to purchase a professional standard alto saxophone, enabling him to go to Newcastle College where he is studying Jazz, Commercial and Popular Music Performance.

Alex’s ambition is to become a session musician, performer and teacher.
