Concerts at Eton College and Hertford Theatre
Over the last few months a number of Future Talent Musicians have participated in two successful concerts at Eton College’s beautiful School Hall and the fantastic Hertford Theatre.
On 29 April, at Eton College, Robert played Pequena Czarda by Spanish saxophonist, teacher and composer Pedro Iturralde. Elodie and Willard followed up this sleek performance with Carl Stamtiz’s majestic Opus 18. We are enormously grateful to both Berkshire Maestros and Eton College Chapel Choir for organising this event on our behalf, which raised a staggering total of £2,500 for our Charity. We also loved hearing the two ensembles perform during the concert. Please do visit our new YouTube channel to hear performances from Robert, Elodie and Willard.
A week later, on 6 May, two of our Musicians participated in the Pro-Action Herts Variety Show at Hertford Theatre. The event brought musicians from the local area together for a night of music, theatre and magic, including our own Annie-May, who played some very beautiful Bach. Alexander, our electric guitarist, played a fantastic finger-tapping rendition of Steve Vai’s The Animal. The audience were hugely receptive and the show was an enormous success.
