September Performance Opportunities

As part of our Mentoring, Bursary and Performance programme Future Talent Musicians are offered unique performance and development opportunities during their time with us.  In September, Billy, Ezo, Georgina, Molly and Tylah all performed at a number of different venues and events.

On 5 September folk violinist Billy had the chance to perform at Artree’s Free Live Music Festival of Folk 2015 at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell.  Billy played a live 40 minute set of music from his recently released album with guitarist Ramon Goose.

Violinist Ezo and singer Georgina were invited to perform to an audience of 200 guests at the Jewish Volunteering Network Awards Dinner in London on 7 September.  Ezo performed Allemanda and Corrente from Bach’s Partita No.2 in D Minor, before Georgina sang Anytime (I am there) from the musical Elegies.

Earlier this year Mishcon de Reya named Future Talent its Charity of the Year and on 10 September invited ‘cellist Molly and singer Tylah to perform at the launch of their Academy Programme.  Molly began with Romberg’s Cello Sonata No.2 playing alongside Relationship Manager Lucia Capellaro as guests arrived before Tylah sang Iron Sky.  Afterwards, Molly and Tylah had the chance to meet staff at an informal reception.
