Future Talent Musicians perform in a Concert for 14 Guitars

On Saturday 13 September Future Talent Musicians performed at Holland Park School as part of a concert in aid of Future Talent.  Future Talent friend and supporter Leigh Greenham organised ‘A Concert for 14 Guitars’ with guitarist Raymond Burley, who performed in and conducted the concert.  The programme for 14 guitars included music from Vivaldi to The Beatles.

Future Talent Musician Billy Hill was invited to perform after the interval and impressed the audience with two wonderful solo pieces on folk violin.

Raymond then introduced Daniel Bovey, a Future Talent Musician Alumni, who performed with the professional guitarists throughout the evening.  Daniel spoke beautifully about how Future Talent helped him in 2010 with a contribution towards a new classical guitar, and the impact Future Talent’s support has had on his musical journey.

The evening was a wonderful success and raised over £300.  We would like to thank Leigh Greenham, Raymond Burley and Holland Park School for organising and producing the concert.  And of course all the musicians who made the evening so enjoyable.
