Future Talent Musicians perform at Charity Award Dinner
Billy Hill, Edward Tomanek-Volynets and Tylah Tomkins-Simpson performed to an audience of over 300 people at the Global Trade Review Charity Award Dinner on 30 April 2014. Held at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel, the dinner named Future Talent as their chosen charity and welcomed our three musicians to perform for their guests.
Edward was the first to perform playing Un Sospiro by Franz Listz and the third movement from The Tempest sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Billy was next on the folk violin and his traditional Irish and Appalachian repertoire included Glory in the Meeting House.
After saying a few words about how Future Talent has helped her, Tylah sang Halo and Run, hits by Beyonce and Leona Lewis.
The guests were noticeably delighted with Billy, Edward and Tylah’s performances and when asked about her evening, Tylah said:
“It was such a great experience and I met some lovely people! I am so thankful I got the opportunity to do something like this”
TV presenter and co-host Mark Durden-Smith introduced our performers and compered the charity auction in aid of Future Talent. The evening raised over £13,000 and we would like to thank Founder and Managing Director Peter Gubbins and the Exporta Group for inviting Future Talent to participate in the evening.
