Future Talent at Wormsley

On 12 June Future Talent and guests enjoyed a wonderful day of cricket and good food at Wormsley on the beautiful Getty Family Estate in Buckinghamshire.  Six teams battled to win our knock-out cricket tournament but there could only be one winner and the Wandsworth Wanderers were the champions on the day.  We would like to thank them and Close Brothers, Bench Events, Rawlinson & Hunter, Sandaire/Lord North Street and Sarasin & Partners who all fielded cricket teams on the day.

Thank you also to Jeffrey Archer who hosted our live auction.  Some of the winning bids included a tennis match with Tim Henman, a private singing lesson with Lesley Garrett and a tour of the commentary box at Lord’s with Geoff Boycott.

We also held a silent auction and cricketer Charlie Dagnall led a lively game of heads and tails with a music and cricket trivia twist.

The day raised £10,500 and we would like to thank all our guests, bidders and supporters for helping make it such a wonderful success.
