Marlborough College Future Talent Fundraiser
It has become somewhat of a tradition for the pupils of Marlborough College to raise money for Future Talent. Indeed, an event on 8th October, marked their fourth year of fundraising.
The annual London Gala Concert given by the Music Scholars took place very early on in the academic year, which gave performers barely four weeks’ preparation time. Given the magnificent (and lengthy) concert to a packed Princess Alexandra Hall, Royal Overseas League, this was nevertheless a spectacular display by a dedicated and high quality group of scholars. The programme was eclectic and vibrant and the audience certainly departed feeling thoroughly uplifted and inspired by the whole experience.
“We found out about this charity from a past parent of a Music Scholar and it seemed more than appropriate for pupils from such a generously blessed environment to give to young musicians who need help in funding their talents and ambitions.”
Clare Toomer Head of keyboard and Academic Music, Marlborough College
